IELTS Reading Overview
In today's lesson, we will explore the main parts of IELTS Reading.
1. What Is IELTS Reading?
IELTS Reading gives you 3 passages and 40 questions. You have 60 minutes to read and find answers to the questions.
- Texts come from books, ads, journals and even magazines
- Topics range from science to history to education
🎯 Your goal: Understand the main ideas, opinions and details.
Make sure to stay focused during the exam
💥 2. Structure at a Glance
Section | Type | Text Length | Focus |
---|---|---|---|
Passage 1 | Simple & factual | ~700 words | Everyday topics |
Passage 2 | Moderate | ~800 words | Work or education |
